The Royal LePage Q2 2026 Home Price Update and Market Forecast was distributed to the media early this morning. The release, published each quarter, includes price data and insights for 65 real estate markets across the country, as well as national and regional forecasts.
After a slow start brought on by a long winter and economic uncertainty, Canada’s housing market regained its footing in May and carried that momentum into June. Sidelined buyers began to re-engage, drawn back by stabilizing borrowing costs and ample inventory in many markets. Though activity in some regions remains below seasonal norms, the late-spring rebound has set a more positive tone heading into the fall.
